Peter Barnes An ex-professional footballer who has enjoyed a very successful, high profile career. His name is synonymous with the best of English football and his sporting achievements include Youth World Cup Championships in 1975, League Cup Winners with Manchester City Football Club, Younger Player of the Year 1976 and 22 games for England (5 goals scored).

A regular commentator for Sky and MUTV, Peter regularly encourages young and amateur players by coaching them in community and school soccer camps. These have now expanded beyond Britain incorporating annual camps in Norway and the Republic of Ireland with negotiations currently ongoing in Dubai.

Peter has more recently been approached to perform coaching on behalf of Manchester Marketing in a highly publicised trip to Malaya promoting Manchester and run in conjunction with the hugely successful Commonwealth Games.

Peter has now been working for BBC GMR as a sports pundit for three years, assisting at all home and away Manchester City Games.
